Ten years ago, on July 4, 2001, I released my CD, Stout & Martinis. In what can only be described as a flop, I attempted to combine my life long love for electronica with my pop songs that I'd been performing with bands and as a singer/songwriter. The album is now available to download free on my website, http://michaelsalamone.com.

BUT---to celebrate my embarrassment from 10 years ago today, today I offer up to you the two songs recorded for that album that didn't make the cut. They were too weird and over-produced for even THAT album. And so, to embarrass myself on the anniversary of my biggest embarrassment, I offer to you ALL GOOD and ODYSSEY, the unreleased Stout & Martinis tracks that never have seen the light of day out of my archives, until now.

Since it's my goal to have every song I've ever written and recorded on michaelsalamone.com before the end of the world in 2012, it seemed fitting to let them loose on the 10th anniversary of my album release for which they were made for.

With all of that said, my many thanks to all of those who made that dream come true ten years ago today, especially Gary Peters for the album art, Brian Rovegno & Terril Scott for vocals, Erik Swartz for photography, Luke Brown for mastering it, Sherri Bradford for support during the creative stages, and my step-father Victor Murphy for making it all tangible and never making me feel bad for the flop it became. Oh, and thanks to the Chautauquan Daily and Artefakt Magazine too, (Todd Singleton in particular) for giving me positive reviews when even many of my friends were telling me I shouldn't have ever left my band. Big love.
