I have to work tomorrow during the supposed rapture.

The CA radio minister who drummed up this hub-bub is from Boulder, CO, and thus there have been billboards here as well.

All anyone can talk about is the end of the world, but nobody's doing anything about it.

I don't believe a radio DJ woke up one morning and found a brightly colored, plastic Book of Revelations brand decoder ring in his Fruit Loops. And that's without debating religion or even that particular chapter of the Christian Bible.

Still, I like a little scare here and again. And I like to make fun of stuff. This is a great story for me.

I've set my phone to vibrate at 6pm MST, the supposed moment of rapture. At which point, in the middle of my work place, I will prat fall dead.

I'm certain that prank alone is why I won't be included in the fuzzy mathematical, radio personality driven, holy-roller rapture. Should it be a thing.

I kind of wish that it were a thing. Population control is a serious issue, and I could do with a few less right-wingers telling me how to live my life.
